KFOR COMMANDER MET AMBASSADOR ATHANASSIADOU

Pristina, Kosovo. KFOR Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta met today the Head of the Greek Liaisons Office in Pristina, Ambassador Konstantina Athanassiadou, at Camp "Film City” NATO KFOR Headquarters in Pristina.

During this first official visit, General Miglietta and Ambassador Athanassiadou had a wide and depth discussion on the evolution of the situation in Kosovo and on the progress achieved in the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade.

General Miglietta thanked the Ambassador for the important role, the professionalism and the outstanding contribution of Greek service members in KFOR. Currently Greece is an important Contributing Nation to KFOR with more than 100 soldiers operating in Kosovo Force Headquarter.

Ambassador Konstantina Athanassiadou, congratulated with General Miglietta for the new prestigious appointment as 20th KFOR Commander and she confirmed the commitment of Greece in support of KFOR mission.
