KFOR COMMANDER MEETS MINISTER OF FINANCE KOSOVO

Pristina, Kosovo. This morning the Commander of Kosovo Force, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, met the Minister of Finance of Kosovo, Mr. Avdullah Hoti.

During the meeting they shared their assessments on overall situation in Kosovo and the financial situation as one of the main driver of the stability in the region. Minister Hoti confirmed that the KFOR’s presence in Kosovo contributes to create the conditions for a better economic stability and prosperity. They discussed the recent approval of 2016 budget and the financial support of different international stakeholders and agreed that the good financial planning has benefits for the overall security situation of Kosovo.

Finally the Minister presented the situation of Municipal budgets for the 4 Northern municipalities. General Miglietta said that KFOR, as the third security responder in Kosovo, remains fully committed in providing a safe and secure environment.
