KFOR COMMANDER ATTENDS THE CERMONY IN SEKIRACA/MEDRAGOVAC


Today, KFOR Commander Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo presided over the ceremony in tribute to the memory of Slovak member of KFOR, Staff Sergeant Mirlosav Hajduch in Sekiraca / Medragovac (Podujevo Municipality).

The ceremony was organized by the Slovak Republic Liaison Office in Pristina/Prishtinë at the monument commemorating the tragic event in which the KFOR service member lost his life in May 2002, and it was attended by many representatives of International Community present in Kosovo.

In his speech, General Figliuolo honored the memory of fallen Staff Sergeant Miroslav Hajduch, underlining as the International Community paid, and is continuing to pay a huge tribute in terms of lives in order to bring peace in several countries.

The ceremony ended with the invocation of the military chaplain and a minute of silence in honor of the fallen KFOR service member.
