KFOR BACKS MINI-OLYMPICS FOR YOUTH WITH DISABILITIES


Today, Kosovo Mini-Olympics for Youth with Disabilities took place at Kosovo Academy for Public Security in Vushtri/Vucitrin.

The initiative organized and supported by several Kosovo and International Organizations, have given the opportunity to the young participants to enjoy a day of sport expressly dedicated to them. This initiative has also given the community the opportunity to become involved with the athletes.

Among the attendees at the event were the OSCE HoM H.E. Jean Claude Schlumberger, the Italian Ambassador to Kosovo H.E. Andreas Ferrarese, and the KFOR Deputy Commander Anton Waldner.

Kosovo MP Mrs. Njomza Emini thanked KFOR for backing the initiative and in particular for the help provided to the event by KFOR Multinational Specialized Unit, led by Colonel Francesco Maria Chiaravalloti that collected funds in Italy to support the young people affected by disabilities.
