JOINT LOGISTIC SUPPORT GROUP CHANGE OF COMMAND

Today KFOR Commander, Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo, presided over the change of command ceremony, to mark the handover within KFOR Joint Logistic Support Group (JLSG) in Camp Film City, in Pristina/Prishtinë.

The ceremony, attended by the Austrian Ambassador to Kosovo, H.E. Johann Brieger, and many military authorities representing KFOR´s contributing nations, marked the handed over of JLSG Command between the outgoing Colonel Franz Josef Madner and the incoming Colonel Carl Woehl-Danzinger.

In his speech, Major General Francesco Paolo Figliuolo highly commended the soldiers of JLSG for their extensive list of accomplishments achieved during Colonel Madner´s leadership, thanks to valuable professionalism and commitment demonstrated by JLSG soldiers.

During this period JLSG conducted several infrastructural projects in KFOR Camps, carried out driver training, personnel transportation, supply and fuel delivery and several Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) operational activities.

Joint Logistic Support Group is a KFOR logistic unit composed by service members from 15 different KFOR contributing nations, which provide logistic support to all KFOR units throughout all Kosovo and the Balkans region.
