JFC NAPLES COMMANDER VISITS KFOR HEADQUARTERS IN PRISTINA

Pristina, Kosovo. U.S. Navy Admiral Mark E. Ferguson III, Joint Force Command – Naples Commander, met today Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, KFOR Commander, at Camp "Film City”, NATO KFOR HQ.

This was the first visit of Admiral Ferguson to KFOR HQ since General Miglietta was appointed as COM KFOR, last 7 August.

Admiral Ferguson received a comprehensive briefing by COM KFOR and HQ Staff on the latest developments of the current security and political situation in Kosovo and in the Balkan region.

JFC-N Commander expressed his appreciation for the commitment of KFOR troops to the stability of Kosovo’s future and highlighted the importance to support the development of security institutions capable of operating without NATO assistance.
