COM KFOR MET KOSOVO MINISTER OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS

Pristina, Kosovo. This morning Kosovo Force Commander, Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta, met Kosovo Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Skender Hyseni.

Minister Hyseni stressed that "KFOR is an important and indispensable component in Kosovo able, through its presence, to provide a safe and secure environment throughout the country”.

General Miglietta and Minister Hyseni agreed on the substantial progress in the security and freedom of movement that have been made in Kosovo. COM KFOR expressed his appreciation for the increased capabilities of Kosovo Police and for professionally fulfilling its role as first security responder in Kosovo.

Moreover, General Miglietta said that KFOR remains fully committed in providing a safe and secure environment and that genuine co-operation between the security institutions in the country shall continue.
