CHRISTMAS SPIRIT IN CAMP FILM CITY

Pristina, Kosovo. Today KFOR celebrated the traditional Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at Camp Film City.

Major General Guglielmo Luigi Miglietta turned on the Christmas tree lights marking the official start of the festive season. "As we spend the holiday season away from our loved ones, we should take pride in our devotion to fulfil our mission as part of the KFOR team” stated COMKFOR addressing the soldiers.

Every one celebrates the holiday season in different ways depending on their faith, ethnicity and cultural upbringing. Today, representatives of 31 Nations attended the ceremony to wish everyone in Kosovo a peaceful festive season.

The celebratory atmosphere was enhanced by the decorations displayed throughout Camp Film City. This year KFOR soldiers from the Austrian, German and Swiss contingents organized a festive Advent Market, offering delicious seasonal treats.
