AIRMEDEVAC TRAINING AT CAMP SLIM LINES

Pristina, Kosovo. In Camp Slim Lines, training took place on Air Medical Evacuation (MEDEVAC) procedures. The objective was to train the new Portuguese contingent, KFOR Tactical Reserve Maneuver Battalion (KTM), in conducting medical evacuations.

This operational event permitted the Portuguese medical team to become familiar with the equipment and with the tactics, techniques and procedures related to AIRMEDEVAC. For the success of this event, it should be mentioned the professionalism and readiness of the US air evacuation crew from Multinational Battle Group - East (MNBG-E).
