MAJOR GENERAL SALVATORE FARINA (COM KFOR) MET WITH THE CHIEF OF DEFENCE OF THE SLOVENIAN ARMED FORCES, MAJOR GENERAL DOBRAN BOZIC

On 26th February 2014 Major General Salvatore FARINA welcomed the Chief of Defence of the Slovenian Armed Forces, Major General Dobran BOZIC, to an official meeting in "Camp Film City” in Pristina.

Commander of the Kosovo Force (COMKFOR) and the Slovenian Chief of Defence discussed Slovenia's contribution to KFOR's military tasks, regional co-operation in the Balkans and engagement in relation to the region.

Major General Salvatore FARINA underlined the excellent work done by KFOR and in particular the Slovenian units, in close cooperation with all the local and international security organizations during the elections of the mayor of Mitrovica North on 23 February as well as during the November and December 2013 elections.

Major General FARINA thanked Major General Dobran BOZIC for the support of the Slovenian contingent that is composed of 320 military personnel throughout KFOR, as well as quality assets like helicopters and staff officers within KFOR HQ.
During his visit to COMKFOR, Major General Dobran BOZIC took the opportunity to meet members of the Slovenian Armed Forces participating in the mission in Kosovo.
