JLSG CHANGE OF COMMAND

11th October 2014 - Yesterday, COM KFOR, Major General Francesco Paolo FIGLIUOLO, presided over the change of command ceremony of the Joint Logistic Support Group between Colonel Oliver MEHU, outgoing, and Colonel Franz Josef MADNER, incoming.

The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Austria in Kosovo, H.E. Johann BRIEGER.

During his speech, COM KFOR remarked on the high level of professionalism and the outstanding performance showed by JLSG personnel during their tour in KFOR.

Today the Joint Logistic Support Group is composed of personnel from 15 Nations among 4 subunits and JLSG HQ in Film City.

During Col. MEHU’s tenure, many activities have been conducted, such as the EOD Clearance in Mount CVILJEN and the repair of a cart road in the Decani Monastery Area and many activities to support the KFOR Headquarters. The JLSG carried out driver training, supply and fuel delivery, EOD operational readiness.
