OFFICIAL MEETING WITH PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA, MR BORUT PAHOR


On 10th September 2013 Major General Salvatore FARINA welcomed President of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr Borut PAHOR, to an official meeting in Camp Fim City in Pristina.

The Slovenian delegation included State Secretaries of both Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia in Pristina and the Chief of General Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces. Commander of the Kosovo Force (COMKFOR) and the President discussed Slovenia's contribution to KFOR's military tasks, regional co-operation in the Balkans and engagement in relation to the region.

Maj.Gen. FARINA thanked President PAHOR for the support of the Slovenian contingent that is composed of 323 military personnel throughout KFOR. During his visit to COMKFOR, the President of the Republic of Slovenia took the opportunity to meet members of the Slovenian Armed Forces participating in the mission in KOSOVO.
