DIRECTOR OF FOREIGN AFFAIRES DEPARTMENT OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC VISITS COMKFOR

PRISTINA, Kosovo. On the 21st of November, the Kosovo Force Commander, Major-General Salvatore FARINA (COM KFOR), received a visit from the Director of Foreign Affairs Department of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic, Mr. Hynek KMONICEK.

The main topics that were discussed during this high level meeting were the present and possible future CZECH contribution to KFOR, the security situation in Kosovo, especially in the north, in light of the ongoing electoral process, as well as the regional co-operation in the Balkans and the progress of the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade.

COM KFOR thanked Mr. KMONICEK for the Czech Republic commitment to the mission, and distinctly complimented the high standard of integrity and professionalism of the CZECH personnel.
