COMMANDER JFC NAPLES VISITS KFOR

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Commander Joint Force Naples (JFCNP) Admiral Bruce W. CLINGAN visited HQ KFOR in Pristina and met KFOR Commander Major General Salvatore FARINA on 1st and 2nd October 2013.

Admiral CLINGAN discussed the current security and political situation in Kosovo as well as the wider Balkans region and its latest developments. He had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Bernd BORCHARDT, EULEX Head of Mission and Mr. Samuel ZOBGAR, EU Special Representative in Kosovo, underlining the positive and close cooperation with KFOR, as 3rd responder, in guaranteeing Freedom of Movement and a Safe and Secure Environment.

ADM CLINGAN was fully satisfied in discussing with COMKFOR and HQ Staff about the main encounters related to the coming elections as well as other operational and logistic issues.
