COMMANDER JFC NAPLES VISITS KFOR

PRISTINA, Kosovo. Commander Joint Force Naples (JFC NP) Admiral Bruce W. CLINGAN carried out a 4 days visit to HQ KFOR in Pristina and met KFOR Commander Major General Salvatore FARINA from 12thto 15thNovember 2013.

The current security and political situation in Kosovo were the main topics discussed and they highlighted the crucial role of KFOR in the success of the 3rd of November elections.

During this visit ADM CLINGAN had the opportunity to meet with Ms. Atifete JAHJAGA, Kosovo President, Mr. Hashim THACI, Kosovo Prime Minister, Mr. Samuel ZBOGAR, EU Special Representative in Kosovo and the QUINT ambassadors.

ADM CLINGAN highly complimented the excellent cooperation between KFOR, EULEX and KP and their high level efforts to provide a Safe and Secure Environment and Freedom of Movement during the upcoming repeat elections in the north.
