COM KFOR VISITS MULTINATIONAL BATTLE GROUPS AND JOINT REGIONAL DETACHMENTS.

On the 21st and 22nd September 2013, KFOR Commander MG Salvatore FARINA visited, respectively the Multinational Battle Group-West and the Joint Regional Detachment -West in Camp Villaggio Italia (Belo Polje) and the Multi-National Battle Group-East and the Joint Regional Detachment -Est in Camp Bond steel.

MG FARINA was briefed by commanders about the current operational and logistic situation in the area of Responsibility.

In addition Commander of KFOR received several briefings designed to inform him of the on-going military operations on the ground.

Multinational Battle Groups and Joint Regional Detachments are multinational units composed of US, Italian, Austrian, French, Germany, Slovenian, Turkish, Polish, Armenian, Moroccan, Ukraine, Swiss, Luxembourg personnel.

MG FARINA addressed the troops underlining their professionalism and competence to assure a safe and secure environment in Kosovo.
