COM KFOR PARTICIPATION OF THE NEW BRIDGE INAUGURATION IN DECANE.

On Tuesday 24th September 2013 the Commander of KFOR (COMKFOR), Major General Salvatore FARINA, attended the ceremony of inauguration of a bridgebuilt by Kosovo Security Force in Decane, just beside the Monastery.

Minister of Kosovo Security Force (KSF) Agim CEKU and the Abbot of the Monastery Phater SAVA inaugurated the new bridge in Decane. Both cut the ribbon during a very significant ceremony.

Minister CEKU thanked KSF personnel that has been working for almost two months, hardly and in a very professional manner.

The wooden old bridge was removed and a new one, with metal structure wood coated , has been placed in the same position.

COMKFOR highlighted the importance of this engineering project as an effective example of professionalism of KSF members supported by NATO through the so called "NATO Liaison and Advisory Team” (NLAT).
