COM KFOR MET THE ALBANIAN AMBASSADOR TO KOSOVO


On 03rd October 2013 Major General Salvatore FARINA met the Albanian Ambassador to Kosovo, His excellency Islam Lauka, for an office call in Camp Film City in Pristina.

Commander of the Kosovo Force (COMKFOR) and the Ambassador discussed Albania's contribution to KFOR's military tasks, regional co-operation in the Balkans and engagement in relation to the region.

Ambassador Lauka said that the Government of the Republic of Albania fully supports the technical dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia and highly assessed the importance of practical issues which depend on normal relations in the field of economy, free trade, movement of people especially during the elections process.

Maj.Gen. FARINA underlined the importance of the support of the Albanian contingent that is composed of 14 military personnel throughout KFOR.
