COM KFOR MAJOR GENERAL FARINA RECEIVED THE VISIT OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA IVO JOSIPOVIC

On 07 September 2013 Pristina, Maj. Gen. Salvatore FARINA, the new Commander of Kosovo Force XVIII ( COMKFOR) marked his first official engagement where is received the visit of the President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipovic and his delegation. General FARINA thanked President Josipovic for the support of the Republic of Croatia, as a NATO member, in this important moment for Kosovo.

COMKFOR stressed the importance of the croatian contribution stated by the Croatian strenght, composed of 22 military personnel and 2 helicopters, in a joint effort to progress the process of stabilization by ensuring safety , security and freedom of movement for citizens of all ethnic groups in Kosovo. President Josipovic appreciated the opportunity to discuss KFOR current tasking and to be appraised of how KFOR is currently focusing its efforts.
