COM KFOR INAUGURATION OF LMT FIELD OFFICE

On the 16th of September 2013, KFOR Commander, Major General Salvatore FARINA inaugurated a field office for the Liaison and Monitoring Team (LMT), belonging to the Joint Regional Detachment North ( JRD-N), in Mitrovica.

The newly opened field office is going to be KFOR's main point of contact to the general public in Mitrovica, and it will give an extra value to the cooperation between KFOR and all local authorities.

KFOR continues to be committed to execute its mission Kosovo wide and remains impartial in contributing to a Safe and Secure Environment for all people in Kosovo. KFOR has no role in assessing legal or political aspects or activities in Kosovo, but that these activities are to be managed in a spirit of reconciliation and dialogue.
