CHIEF OF DEFENCE OF LUXEMBOURG VISITS KFOR

December 30, 2013. PRISTINA, Kosovo. Chief of defense of Luxembourg, General Mario DAUBENFELD, visited KFOR Head Quarters (KFOR HQ) and met KFOR Deputy Commander, Brigadier-General Anton WESSELY (DCOM KFOR), in Camp Film City in Pristina.

After having welcomed him in front of KFOR HQ, DCOM KFOR had an office call with General DAUBENFELD during which discussions were held about the current security and political situation in Kosovo, the operations conducted by the Luxembourg contingent in KFOR and the future of the mission in light of the development of the General situation in Kosovo.

DCOM KFOR expressed his appreciation for the contribution of Luxembourg, highlighting the professionalism and commitment of its troops.

In completion of his visit, General DAUBENFLED visited the Luxembourg contingent, and shared Christmas and seasonal greetings with the Luxembourger soldiers.
