CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY IN THE CAMP SLIM LINES IN PRISTINA.

On 29th September 2013 : COMKFOR, Major General Salvatore FARINA, presided over a change of command ceremony in the Camp "SLIME LINES" in Pristina, to mark the handover of command within KTM.

Many distinguished visitors were present at the ceremony including the His Excellency Hungarian Ambassador to Kosovo and MG Carlos Henrique de Aguiar SANTOS(Light Brigade Commander).

Portuguese Lt Colonel Paulo CORDEIRO handed over command to Lt Colonel Fernando Paulo Monteiro Lucìo GONCALVESS , after one year in command. The parade consisted of KTM troops from Hungary and Portugal composed of around 100 military personnel.

COM KFOR awarded Lt Col. Cordeiro with the KFOR NATO Peace Mission Medal and commented on his professionalism. He welcomed the new KTM Commander and wished him all the best.

At the end of his speech Maj. Gen. FARINA pointed out: "…all of us being and working More together, can truly do and accomplish more for the better of all the people of Kosovo”.
