Ltc. IT ARMY Fabrizio NASO
Ltc. Naso was born in Rome on 22 August 1980. After graduating from High School in 1999, he attended the 181 course at the Military Academy of Modena, where he got the rank of First Lieutenant in September 2001 and was assigned to the Signal Corp. Since 2001, he attended the School of Applied Army Studies in TURIN, where he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2004.
In 2005 he was allocated to the 33" Electronic Warfare Regiment, in Treviso, where he served as Coy Commander.
In 2014, after attending the 139h Basic Staff Course at the Italian Army War College, he was assigned as Staff Officer to the Land Intelligence Office of the Joint Intelligence Center (JIC) in ROME. During his time at the JIC, he was in charge as Team Leader of the Technical Intelligence Section, Chief of the Technical Intelligence Section and Chief of the Signal Intelligence Section.
In 2019 he attended the Joint Services Senior Staff College where he achieved the post-graduate Masters' in 'International Strategic and Military Studies' in cooperation with Turin State University.
On promotion to Lieutenant Colonel, he was appointed Battalion Commander of the 33" Electronic Warfare Regiment in Treviso in September 2021.

Bronze Medal of Merit for Long Command;
Silver Cross for service seniority,
Commemorative Cross for Peace Operations;
Several Italian, NATO, ONU and EU commemorative Medals for Operations in BOSNIA (2007), in LEBANON (2008), in KOSOVO (2010), in LIBYA (2011), in AFGHANISTAN (2012 and 2019) and in IRAQ (2016);
Slovenian Cooperation Medal.
He's got a degree in "Strategic Sciences" at the Turin State University (2005) and a post-graduate Masters' in 'Electronic Systems and Technologies for Security, Defense and Intelligence at the Tor Vergata University in Rome (2016).
Ltc. Naso is married.
