BUDVA, Montenegro - Chief NATO Liaison Office Skopje, Captain (N) Gorazd Bartol participated in the eight Forum "To Be secure" held in Budva, Montenegro 21-23 May 2018.
The Forum "To Be Secure" is an annual high-level conference on issues of global, transatlantic security and security in South East Europe. The Forum's organizer is the Atlantic Alliance of Montenegro, together within the Montenegrin Government's co-operation and in cooperation with the US Embassy and NATO.
President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic, Defence Minister Predrag Boökovic and Defence Minister of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Radmila Sekerinska were also among this year's participants.
At the opening, along with Prime Minister Markovic, US Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Palmer and President of the Atlantic Alliance of Montenegro Savo Kentera will also address the participants.
Prime Minister Duöko Markovic said while opening the Forum To Be Secure in Budva, that the Balkans region remains to be an "unfinished job", burdened with problems, therefore, by addressing open issues in the Region, encouraging good trends and implementing reforms, we should take advantage of the recent renewal of interest in this part of the world by both Brussels and Washington.
