Skopje, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia* - The Government of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia , upon on invitation of the Vice President of the Government and Minister of Defence, held a briefing for NATO Alliance member state ambassadors on November 15.
Chief NATO Liaison Office Skopje, Slovenian Army Colonel Zoran Jankovič accompanied by the Governmental Advisor and the Political Advisor was also present for the briefing.
The Minister of Defence, Radmila Shekerinska, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikola Dimitrov, had the briefing dedicated to current developments regarding the accession process for the integration of the country in the NATO Alliance, and aimed to brief the ambassadors on the steps taken so far, as well as the upcoming activities which are a part of the accession process.
At the meeting with the ambassadors, the two ministers presented a detailed overview of the Programme for continuation of reforms which is an integral part of the process of accession of the country to the NATO Alliance.
