SKOPJE, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia* - NATO Liaison Office Skopje hosted its annual reception for the representatives of the government, members of the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff, officers and state servants in the defence and security area, diplomats and defence attaches and other members of the International Community.
The reception takes place in the last month of the calendar year and with around two hundred key associates participating. In the past, it has been an excellent opportunity to enhance NATO Liaison Office Skopje’s relations with the Ministry of Defense and other related institutions and organizations.
The purpose of the event was for the NLO Skopje personnel to formally recognize and thank local dignitaries, community representatives and counterparts for their unwavering support over the past year. It was organized in "Moulino” restaurant in Skopje, during the midday hours of Thursday, December 7. NATO Liaison Office Skopje Chief, Slovenian Navy Captain Gorazd Bartol, addressed the guests, expressing gratitude to them for their enduring support.
The reception, among others, was attended by the key officials in defense, generals from the host nation army, directors and heads of sections from many other host nation ministries. Many heads of missions of the international organizations and embassies resident in the country and many other international and domestic representatives also attended the event.
