SKOPJE, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia* - Navy Captain Gorazd Bartol, in his capacity as NATO Liaison Office Chief, met with the Prime Minister, Emil Dimitriev, July 26, 2016.
During the reception, Capt. Bartol expressed his gratitude for the long-standing cooperation between the Prime Minister's Cabinet and the NATO liaison office in the country.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the military being well prepared and the further need of reforms in the security sector. prime Minister Dimitriev emphasized that NLO Skopje still has an important role to play in that aspect, and he reiterated that the membership in NATO continues to be a strategic goal for the country.
They concurred that the cooperation between NATO and the country will remain on all levels professional and supportive in every way possible.
