SKOPJE, the former Yogaslav Republic of Macedonia* - On July 15, 2016, Chief of the NATO Liaison Office in Skopje, Navy Captain Gorazd Bartol, had a meeting with the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Metodija Velichkovski, where issues of mutual interest were discussed.
During the talks, the Chief of the NATO Liaison Office got familiarized with the GS activities in the process of transformation and the upcoming changes in the logistic concept.
Both speakers agreed with the importance of continuing the present close cooperation on a professional level, aiming towards contributing to the process of integration within the North-Atlantic structures, as one of the main functions of the Office.
Previously, Capt. Bartol had visited the Joint Operations Command as part of his agenda to visit the rest of the units in order to gain direct insight into their activities, which proofs the readiness for further mutual cooperation.
