Last week, NHQSa representatives Nato
Advisory Team Chief NHQSa deputy commander Navy Captain Helge Tonning, Chief
TMAS Lieutenant Colonel Marijan Ivanjusa, LNO and Doctrine Advisor Colonel
Hutter met with Colonel Radovan Jovic, newly appointed Commander of the 6th
Infantry Brigade, and Brigadier General Marko Stojčić, newly appointed
commander of the Armed Forces BiH Support Command. Tonning also met with
Colonel Harald Hiorth, Branch Head Civil Military Analyses (CMA) CCOMC SHAPE,
and Lieutenant Colonel Robert Kam, Civil Military Analyst – Western Balkans, Irregular
Migration SHAPE OPI CCOMC CMA, who are paying an official visit to BiH.
Additionally, NHQSa representatives visited
the AFBiH Logistics Command, where they met with Colonel Đukanović, who
informed them about the Logistics Command structure, activities and key
challenges. NHQSa leadership visited Doboj Workshop for Maintenance and
Destruction of Ammunition, hosted by Lieutenant Colonel Bojan Bosiljčić,
Workshop Manager, who presented the workshop capacities and the activities on
the disposal of surplus ammunition and explosive ordinance. Both visits were
very important in acquiring firsthand information in order to strengthen NHQSa
partnership with AFBiH and provide expert advice and assistance as needed.
