Role of NATO in Promoting Cooperation and Security in the Balkans

On Monday, 17 March, NHQSa Commander, General Hart, took part in the event organized by Atlantic Council in BiH in the Albanian Embassy premises, titled "Role of NATO in Promoting Cooperation and Security in the Balkans”.

General Hart talked about the NATO Headquarters mandate in BiH, the relevance and importance of NATO integrations processes for the country and intense effort NATO puts in supporting BiH on this path. Other participants in the event included renowned representatives of BiH media, academia, Atlantic Council regional network, NGO sector and students from University of Dzemal Bijedic – Mostar and University of Ljubljana.

A day later, on 18 March, NHQSa Deputy Commander, Colonel Fauske, was engaged at the same profile event in the town of Pale, with the Greek and Bulgarian Ambassadors to BiH. Goal was the same: to talk about concrete benefits of NATO integrations processes for BiH, from military, political, economic and social perspective.
