Overview of Simulated Exercise - Coordination 2021

Being able to respond and bring the different levels of government together during a crisis is critical. Getting it right can save lives. That is why militaries, civil response and emergency services and NGOs constantly train together – to test and improve the system.

Today saw an important –and successful - test of the co-ordination, leadership and plans at different levels of the BiH government, during a simulated exercise. "Coordination 2021" brought together teams from the institutions of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) and Republika Srpska (RS), as local governments, the international organisations and partners, principlally the USA, and local NGOs, for a table-top simulation exercise that tested how they would work together to tackle an earthquake.
