NATO HQ Sarajevo  /  News  /  2021  /  NHQSa welcomes AFBIH 4th Infantry Brigade returning from Afghanistan

NATO's Headquarters Sarajevo's Deputy Commander Col Olcay Denizer  was in Mostar today to welcome home members of the 4th Infantry Brigade home from their deployment to Afghanistan. 

The unit has been working alongside the armed forces from 36 allies and partners - sharing critical knowledge and expertise including EOD (bomb disposal) with the Afghanistan security forces. 

They were welcomed back to BiH by the Commander of the 4th Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Zdravko Rezo- and NHQSa Deputy Commander Col Olcay Denizer- both of whom thanked the soldiers and praised their professionalism.
