Ammunition needs to be handled and stored carefully. One of the areas where NATO works with the EU, OSCE and other organizations, as well as the authorities in BiH, is in ensuring that munitions are properly accounted for and are stored safely, securely and to international standards.

Several sites across BiH have been upgraded with international support. Brigadier General Eric Folkestad visited one such site in the south of the country to learn what more needs to be done.
