NHQSa Commander General Folkestad sends his heartfelt condolences to the families and Italian diplomatic community

On behalf of all the staff at NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General Eric Folkestad has expressed sympathy to our Italian Ally following an attack on a UN convoy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which killed the Italian Ambassador, Luca Attanasio, and two his staff.

During a meeting with the Italian Ambassador to BiH, H.E. Mr. Nicola Minasi, BG Folkestad signed an official book of condolence. He later also met the Dutch Ambassador to BiH, H.E. Dr. Reinout Vos
