Brigadier General William Edwards attended the opening ceremony of a new military medical facility in the AFBiH Kozara barracks in Banja Luka

Today, Brigadier General William Edwards attended the opening ceremony of a new military medical facility in the AFBiH Kozara barracks in Banja Luka. This is the first military medical facility established since the inception of the AFBiH and the plan is to establish three more, in the Rajlovac barracks in Sarajevo, Dubrave in Živinice and Božan Šimović in Čapljina.

In his address, General Edwards emphasized the following:
One can build a building and purchase equipment but it takes medical professionals and organizational leadership to make an otherwise empty structure come to life and be of service to people. So, I also want to recognize the comprehensive approach the team took to not only build these facilities but also to invest in the human capital required to turn a structure into an important capability of the Armed Forces of BiH.
