From an early age, Lieutenant Dževada Abazović knew she wanted to serve in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina. That passion led her to one of the most defining moments of her life, enrolling in the Military Academy in Germany.

As part of the first generation of BiH Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH) cadets sent to Germany, she faced many challenges, but also incredible opportunities for growth. Her prior knowledge of German helped her adapt quickly, although mastering military terminology was a new hurdle. Over 3.5 years of intensive training, she gained extensive knowledge and skills through various military courses and specializations across Germany.

After graduating in 2021, she made a crucial career decision, accepting the role of a German language instructor in AFBiH Rajlovac barracks, where she now plays a key role in preparing future military personnel. Determined to excel, she continued her education through specialized methodology and didactics courses in Germany. In 2022, she successfully passed the STANAG 6001 German language exam with outstanding scores.

Being a member of the BiH Armed Forces and an instructor is both an honor and a responsibility.
