General Valas visits Theological Seminary of Saint Peter of Dabar-Bosnia in Foca

During World Interfaith Harmony Week, Brigadier General Matthew A. Valas, Commander NHQSa visited the Theological Seminary of Saint Peter of Dabar-Bosnia in Foča and had an opportunity to learn about the history of the Seminary and its importance for the town of Foča.

The host, Archpriest-Staurophore Prof. Ljubomir Prijović, the Rector of the Seminary informed BG Valas on the mission and work of the Seminary and the broader importance the Seminary has in everyday life and development of the local community in Foča. Respecting the importance of the history and activities of the Serb Orthodox community in the area of Foča, BG Valas also visited the Church of Saint Sava, which stands as the largest Orthodox Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
