NATO HQ Sarajevo  /  News  /  2024  /  NATO DEEP: Empowering SIPA in Counter Terrorism Training

This week, within the framework of the NATO Defence Enhancement Education Programme (DEEP), BiH Agency for Professional Education and Training hosted the first Train the Trainer Seminar for the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), with the goal to integrate NATO Counter Terrorism Reference Curriculum in their training programs.

With participation of SIPA representatives from the Agency seat and all their regional offices: Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Mostar and Tuzla, the training covered current trends, challenges and best practices in addressing Counter Terrorism, with the aim of raising awareness and developing capabilities for preventing and managing consequences of terrorist activities.
