NATO Headquarters Sarajevo Commander, Brigadier General Matthew Valas, visited the Saber Junction 24 exercise in Germany.

It was a great opportunity to visit the soldiers of the AF BiH Light Infantry Battalion Group at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) in Hohenfels, Germany. They remain motivated to train and gain experience in a dynamic and extremely challenging exercise.

The exercise brings together more than 4000 troops from Allied and partner nations, with the goal of testing their readiness and ability to conduct joint land operations. This year marks the first time that the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are participating in this exercise as a full company.

This exercise will significantly contribute to enhancing the operational capabilities and interoperability of the AF BiH with Allied forces.
