Commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, Brigadier General Matthew A. Valas, today visited the Srebrenica Memorial Center, laid a wreath at the Memorial Center's cemetery and paid tribute to the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica.

During his stay at the Memorial Center, General Valas visited the permanent museum exhibition and met with the director of the Memorial Center, Mr. Emir Suljagić. 

NATO remains committed to peace and security in the Western Balkans and to our continued partnership with Bosnia and Herzegovina.
