Armed Forces Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Every day, the incredibly talented and dedicated men and women of Armed Forces BiH put their fellow citizens before themselves to keep everyone in BiH safe, whether that is from landmines, domestic and international security threats or natural disasters.

In just 17 years since it was formed, the AFBiH have also become central to peacekeeping and stability operations around the world and are rightly known for their professionalism – especially the flagship, multi-ethnic Light Infantry Battalion Group which continues to excel in NATO evaluations and bilateral exercises with global partners. Today we celebrate these successes with AFBiH and look forward to more to come.
