JFC Naples Military Partnership Expert Staff Meeting in Mauritania

On 11th December 2014 a delegation from Headquarters Allied Joint Force Command Naples’ Military Partnerships Branch visited the Mauritanian Armed Forces General Staff in Nouakchott, capital of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, in order to take part in a Military Cooperation Expert Staff Meeting.
The Allied Joint Force Command Naples delegation which was led by Colonel Vincent Alexandre, Head of the Military Partnerships Branch, was very warmly welcomed by the Mauritanian General Staff delegation.
The discussion points included a review of activities from NATO’s Partnerships Cooperation Menu that were attended by Mauritanian Armed Forces personnel in 2014 and proposed Partnership Cooperation events for the next year 2015 and beyond.
During the discussions the Mauritanian General Staff delegation provided insightful and necessary feedback which will further enable JFC Naples Military Partnerships Branch in effectively supporting NATO and Mauritanian mutual Partnership goals in the future.
The Islamic Republic of Mauritania is a member of NATO’s Mediterranean Dialogue.
