COM NHQ Sa meets Brigadier General Reinhard Trischak in Vienna
Brigadier General Gary E. Huffman, Commander of NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, visited the Director of the Military Policy Division in the Austrian Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General Reinhard Trischak in Vienna on Jan. 20, 2012.
COM NHQ Sa thanked BG Reinhard Trischak for the Austrian support with one Staff Officer to the Technical Military Advisor Section at the NATO Headquarters Sarajevo and emphasised the excellent cooperation between the, at present Austrian Major General Robert Brieger lead, EUFOR Althea Mission and NHQ Sa.
Further discussion points were the progress on the Euro-Atlantic integrations, the Defence Reform and the ongoing formation of the State government in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
BG Trischak emphasizedthe important work of NHQ Sa in the BiH Defence Reform Process as well as the continuing commitment of Austria to NHQ Sa within the current framework. Hethanked BG Huffman for his visit to the Austrian MoD and wished him all the best for its mission.
